Pride Group opens 5-Star Pride Plaza hotel in New Delhi’s Aerocity

The Pride Group of Hotels has announced of their first 5-Star upper upscale Pride Plaza hotel in New Delhi at Aerocity. The 385-room hotel is the only Indian brand in the luxury hospitality space in the Aerocity hospitality district. Nevertheless, designed to cater to both leisure and business traffic to the city, the hotel has 12,000 sqft of conferencing space contained in five spacious state-of-the-art halls, and two meeting rooms. The hotel boasts of two full-fledged dining areas – the all-day diner, Café Pride, and the specialty restaurant – Oriental Spice. It also houses, Stallion, a lounge bar, Mr Confectioner, the patisserie; and the ORA spa and fitness centre. As an Indian hotel brand, the owners have tried to bring in elements of Indian art and culture into the hotel design, with paintings and photographs of monuments in and around adorning the public areas and the guest rooms of the hotel. “This is the largest hotel in our chain, and only luxury hotel brand by an Indian hotel company in the Aerocity. We are quite excited about our entry into the national capital. From the design of the hotel, we have tried to bring in elements of Indian art and culture at all the touch points,” said SP Jain, Managing Director, The Pride Group of Hotels. In addition, Pride Plaza Aerocity, New Delhi is the 12th hotel the Pride Group portfolio with presence in Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa Dharamshala, Jaipur, Kolkata and Vadodara.
